EGGS OR YOUNG? |
Lays about 30-50 eggs hatching within 5 days.
The eggs are laid in a sticky nest of foam on the underside
of leaves hanging over water. When the eggs hatch, they slide
off the leaves and the tadpoles drop to the water below

APPEARANCE |
One of the most striking of the tree frogs.
They have bright red eyes and the dorsal area is usually
a neon-like shade of green. The sides are light blue with
cream to yellow coloured stripes. The upper legs are bright
blue, and the feet are a bright orange or red. They have
large, specially developed suction cup toe pads, which allow
them to attach to leaves, branches, and the sides of trees.
They are excellent climbers and swimmers

WHAT DOES IT EAT? |
Feed every other day with as much as each
frog can eat at each sitting. They are very fond of flying
food such as flies and moths but crickets and other live
food can also be offered. Vitamin/mineral supplement required.

Experience is necessary.

Slow moving and ponderous. Handle cautiously
and only when necessary as their skin is very delicate. Nocturnal

VIVARIUM SETUP |
Tall aquaterrarium 18x24x12in/ 45x60x30cm.
House in groups. A waterfall is beneficial or provide a small
shallow water bowl. Rainforest-type climate. Provide climbing
branches and hiding places. Plant with Bromeliads, pothos,
spider plants, and philodendrons. Mist heavily twice daily
with warm water. Keep well ventilated to avoid fungus.
Day time temperature 77-86F/25-30C dropping to 68F/20C at night. High humidity
of 80%. Fluorescent light tube, water filter, basking light and under-tank
heatpad required.
