ADULT SIZE |
4in/10.1cm for females. Males are a little
smaller at 3in/7.5cm. Largest known size is 6in/15cm. Will
live up to 15 years.

EGGS OR YOUNG? |
Lays 200-300 eggs as spawn. Tadpoles will
hatch in 24-48 hours.

APPEARANCE |
This is a brilliant dark green frog with a
distinctive white lower lip and a white stripe along the
outer edge of the hind leg. The specimens from New Guinea
may be dull green and tend not to be as attractive as the
specimens from Australia
|
WHAT DOES IT EAT? |
Feed every other day or so. Crickets, locusts,
mealworms, fruitflies. Beetles, bugs, caterpillars, grasshoppers,
moths and spiders. Aphids, earthworms, slugs and termites.
Provide a weekly dose of vitamin/mineral supplement to avoid
rickets.

VIVARIUM SETUP |
Tall and roomy aquaterrarium of 20 gallons+.
Rainforest-type climate. Provide climbing branches, hiding
places and potted plants. Mist frogs daily. Day time temperature
77-86F/25-30C reduce slightly at night. Relative humidity
of 50%. Fluorescent light tube, water filter, basking light
and under-tank heatpad required.
